On Thursday, November 7th, Mrs. Beth Jolliff took her student to the Special Olympics bowling competition in Gosnell. The student’s quote this year was “I can and I will. Watch me.” and they did just that.

Waylon Maness and Robert Towery both won bronze medals while Emily Mitchell and Kenny Maness won silver medals. Cameron Jones and Alicia Bryant were both honored with the gold medal. Cameron Jones also won Top Overall Bowler, a title that MHS has won 3 years in a row.

“I am just extremely proud of this group of students,” Mrs. Jolliff said. “This group doesn’t get recognized as much as other students so this is their time to shine. We really appreciate the support from the administration to make this possible.”
