The annual fall play is called “The Bold, The Young, and The Murdered.” It is scheduled to be performed November 1-3 in the high school auditorium. Elementary, middle school, and high school will all be viewing at different times, and there will even be an evening performance for the community to view. As usual, Ms. Martha Lawrence is directing this year’s play.

With a name like “The Bold, The Young, and The Murdered,” you can’t help but wonder what this play has in store. It is a mystery-comedy set on the stage of the long-running soap opera, “The Bold and the Young.,” is in its last days: its handsome hero has self-esteem issues, its villainous old man is more interested in soup, and its heroines are slightly psychopathic. The executive producer gives the struggling cast an ultimatum: complete one episode overnight or the show dies. But when the director ends up murdered, and other cast members start dropping like flies, it seems like his threat might actually come true. Instead of trying to figure out the killer, they keep filming the show.
